VSSTool is simplest VSS report tool that I needed once and wrote. It can generate (recursively) list of files that were changed since some day.
Here (vsstool.exe, ~70Kb).
No installation is necessary, but it requires latest Microsoft Java runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/java) and VSS 6.0 (check that ssapi.dll is registered with regsvr32).
Run VssTool.exe, login to VSS data base (network names and 'Browse' do not work), select project, select date to trace modifications from, click 'Cool!' button.
There are two options: 'recursive' check box and 'multiple' check box. If 'multiple' is checked and file was changed many times since the date, VssTool reports all changes.
