Lines hints:

The hints I know (but not sure if I know all rules I am using; also I should mention that I am not the best player):

1. Look for 3 balls of the same color in line: you should try to extend them to five balls
2. Don't do the first move that looks good: there are always better moves %-)
3. When adding balls, try to leave both ends of the line free. So you can be on the safe side in case a new ball happen to block an end of the line you are building.
4. When adding ball you can usually pick up one of some balls of same color. In this case, see which of them prevents you from building some other line - if there is any, pick it up
5. ;^) be lucky
